I have an original 6-pack case of Browning Mitchell 900's with the original staples in it. What do you guys figure it is worth... I know they aren't antique but are becoming more rare. I suppose this is from the early 1980's

Jason,
The Mitchell 900 series reel was first released in 1978 before Browning bought them out. Once Browning bought Mitchell in 1980 the Garcia logo was absent and the spool had a different design on it. Both have the full skirted spool. They are a very common reel with the Browning version being a little tougher to get. You have a somewhat of a rarity with a sealed complete six-pack from the factory. Separately they sell in the $25-40 range BRAND NEW in box. More or less who wants it worst. The whole six-pack will command more due to being factory sealed. I personally have 2 brand new in boxes and 2 without. Sell them where you want and have a reserve in case you don't get your asking price. NICE FIND!
