After 3 days of madness, 3 troublecalls, 5 follow-ups, and many hours on the phone with Tech support…the site has been restored to 100%. We should be sailing straight again! :-)

If you should have any problems, please email me at:

Thanks Paul. And a Thanks to Phil and the lovely Rubber Reel Lady for filling the void left when this site went down. With a message board, coffee taste sweeter, wives don't get yelled at as much, dogs don't get kicked and we seem to be a more comtemp lot. I didn't have anything important to say during that time but I felt lost! Now that it is up and running, I still don't have anything worthwhile to say! (except THANKS for your work. )

Logging on and off errors...

For those of you that had errors logging on and off the board today, the problem should be all fixed now. Sorry about that. There was one file that was not updated in the PHP bulletin board conversion that was a rascal, and caused this problem. If you should still have issues with logging on, please clear your browser history (cache) and also delete any of your cookies related the PHPBB. Then try it again.

We are now on the latest and greatest version of the PHP bulletin board software. It is version 2.0.11, supposedly it is not hackable like our old version 2.0.4 or 2.0.6 was.

Thanks for the thanks peoples...and all your patience through this. Now go and Have fun! :-)

Testing...

...just to see if the new software recognizes the AOL browser or if it still responds with that snarky 'Invalid session'. If this posting goes through, kudos to Happy Paul!

Many thanks to you Paul and anyone else that helped to get the "OL'E" site back up. I was in REEL TALK checking things out when I was stuck in limbo. Couldn't log off so went to another site and tried again. No such luck. I thought my computer picked up a virus. Good thing wife and kid were out of house for some time! Well at least I was able to organize some "Reel" stuff in the basement... Thanks again.
