I don't know what the little knob is for on the face of the reel, but it turns freely. The click is strong and the reel genearlly works. Finish has deteriorated somewhat, but I expect the box is worth more than the reel anyhow, so let's REDUCE IT FROM $50 TO $35 mailed to US addresses. First email.
