michell 782 fly reel

I am hunting for any information about the Mitchell 782 fly reel. This reel has a true drag system and was manufactured up until 1988 for the canadian market. The present owners nor the original owners of Michell reels do not had any information on the reel. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I'm almost certain what you have is a salmon mooching reel. If it's in great shape you should be able to get $50 or so for it on eBay. People still fish them in Alaska.
