1818 - my ancestors were in the first five families to settle McNairy Co. TN that year (they came from Georgia, BTW). I think Georgia is 195 years late and $18.20 short (CPI - or $20,700 using economy cost)

Georgia has been beating that dead horse now for close to 200 years. It ain't gonna git up and go. They also tried for a century the same way to get Copperhill Tn (Polk Co.)-until the ore ran out.
Interesting fact: Only a tiny percent of the drainage area of the Tennessee River is in Georgia. They should divert that part before it flows into the Tennessee and that should settle it (check a map if there are any doubts).
