Butt Weight ads

Am I the only one who has noticed this? Almost every TV mail product commercial switches from telling you about the product they are selling and puts in an insult about your physique. The guy, with raised voice, always says "Butt weight!" as if he really means... "HEY YOU, Butt Weight!" Shameful!
Why insult a large part of your customer base? Stick with the facts about the product!

the really creepy part is they're designing commercials so you still get the jest and read all the banners if you're skimming over the commercials on your DVR. You have to go up to >3 to really skip the commercials now.

I like the little blips they put in about 5 commercials away from the actual restart of the show that features the show's characters, either as a promo for the very show you're watching or just as an insert to get you to let off the fast forward early. It's a challenge to watch close enough to know when it's the real restart...and as Ron indicates, I'm guessing that we are getting all those ads going by subliminally (is that a word?)...now, I suddenly have the urge to go sign up for a Metafast program

i quit watching tv because of the commercials, im no worse for it, and to date have saved nearly 3000.00 in cable bills, think of all the reels i can buy with that

shhhhhhh! I told her they were only 50 bucks apop! I should follow your advice, CG!...but then I'd miss all the really important stuff like Pawn Stars, Pickers, Graveyard Cars, Gold Rush, Downton Abbey (LOL...yeah, right!)...gasp...can't do it! best bet for me was to get the DVR and watch the recorded stuff...fast forward thru the butt weight ads and the rest.

On the other hand, some of the commercials are better than the programming-downright entertaining. Wife sleeps through the commercials, I sleep through the programming. Neither of us sleep too well during the night.

Oh! Oh! Got to go now and chase deer out of my flower garden!
