Finally, a day on the water!

Well, I have the Cold From Hell that finally caught up with me and had to get up at 3AM to make it to the lake by 5:30, but I was not about to miss out on this trip after bass with buddy and fellow ORCAn, Dave Gaustad. Most people don't think of San Diego in terms of the scenery on this lake, but there are plenty of great fishing waters in San Diego county, in some pretty rugged areas. We didn't catch anything over a couple pounds, but they were hitting top water baits all morning...all catch and release. Can't wait for the next round!..Thanks much, Dave!

That's what I like to see. A keen fisho getting out of his sick bed to go fishing and being rewarded with fine weather and a great days fishing. Congratulations to JE and good on you Dave for putting up with him.
