Wanted Langley 420 Whitecap

Wanted Langley 420 Whitecap. Need a 420 Whitecap. Reel does not have levelwind nor star drag. Anyone got one? Thanks. Colby

Don't have a Langley 420 Whitcap, but do have a 410 with level wind and star drag. Have never seen a Landley without the level wind except for spinning reels. My collection is limited to 22 level wind baitcasters. Would sure like to see a 420 as you described.

They made a 410, 410A (solid spool), 415, 420 and 425. I have all the other versions but still need that 420 without levelwind and without star drag. Shown in several catalogs. Colby

Sounds like you have a great Langley collection. These reels are quite neat. Don't have any Catalogs etc., but would sure be neat if somewhere a complete list, and some specific history on Langley were available.
