:D 8) :!: :?:  Ok folks I belive that for contest the reels have to be 40 years old or older? anyway if you want one nice reel get one of the Langlys, they have that light weight spool that is full of holes on purpose, the ratio is 4 to 1 almost backlash proff smoth as silk and when the lure hits the water the spool stops, I ahve several however I favor the 310 KC and the modle350A. These may work well at the nationals this year. I ahve had mine over 35 years and they still operate like when new. a 1/4 oz weight will peal off 100 yrds like its shot out of a cannon, and thats 10 lb cotton, or ryon. Col. Milt, that's not "40 years old", it's pre-1940.
