Memories Of Robert Ellis

Post by Jonathan P. Kring »

After a trip he had taken to Yosemite, Robert sent me 4 photos which he signed. They hang in my computer room. A special memory of a special O.R.C.A. member.

Yes, very special indeed. I'll think we'll be talking about Robert for a long time to come. Thanks for sharing these, Jon.

for those of you that have never been to Robert's other site, have a look. He took some fabulous wildlife photos along with all those fishing reel pics...have a look at the "wildlife photos" page by clicking on the link at upper

He was truly an artist with his camera. His wildlife photos were very professional. We will miss his pleasant ways and great photography, and Jon, you are fortunate to be able to look each day at Robert's photos and be reminded what a good friend he was to us all even though he and I never met face to face. Good character just shines across the miles!

Yes and your character shines through too, even though you try to portray yourself as "Bad Bob" Any one who has ever met you knows there is nothing "Bad" about you.

Jon - thanks so much for sharing these. What a great way to remember him everytime you see them. I too like to take photos of nature whenever I can. This is something I never discussed with Robert. Now I'm obviously sorry I missed the chance. What great talent (and patience) with the lens. Yet another part of a great legacy.

John - I couldn't get to the pics from your link. Probably just didn't do it right. Here is a link to Robert's personal website with all the wildlife pics and of course many of his favorite reels as well.
