Treatment for the shack nasties

Post by RAM »

This won't cure 'em but it really helps. Looking out my window today at snow (not as much as many of you have, but still snow) and a temp of 2 degrees (not as cold as some of you, but cold), I need to get my mind on other things. Cant go fishing (even though Young Guy might) to my favorite creeks but I can do this:

I go to Google Earth and type in a location near my favorite fishing creek. I zoom in to my favorite holes to cast to. I can spot every pool, every riffle, every sandbar, even boulders I remember, and can locate the exact spots where I have caught nice smallmouth wading in warm weather. Even can recognize certain trees! They have fortunately covered my area in the summer-nice. Try this on your favorite fishing holes! It will take you to a better place-briefly at least. You'll feel better for it!

Cheers for springtime! Bad Bob

BB, and here I thought you were going to tell us how you are "virtually" catching about the same number of fish that you do when you "actually" visit those same spots. :P

Tom

P.S. It's cold and windy on the plains, too! Brrrrrrrrrrr!
