Post by beckycombs88 »

Could someone tell me which models of Johnson closed face reels used an oscillating spool.
Thanks.

Welcome to the o.r.c.a. web site Becky.

these 6 have the oscillating spool, the 130 b is the easiest to find.

130a-- 130b sabra
160--165 guide
340 force
440 freedom
------------------------------------------------------
on the following 3 models, johnson info. says some may have the oscillating spool-

170 seville
335 force
435 strike

The Sabra 131 also goes both ways. I have one of each. The non-oscillating version has the same slot in the reel face as the oscillating version for the oscillating yoke to pass through.
