Gem level winder and old Shakespeare Reel F/S

Here is a beater combo that came in an old tackle box this weekend. The Gem (patented Sept 21, 1915) has tarnish and a few chips in the glass. The reel is a Shakespeare Universal Precision (1924) with a drilled foot. The click and thumb wheel drag work good and it spins well but there is brassing on the top of the head plate and back plate screws and other usual signs of wear and use. This ain't pretty except it look pretty neat, so somebody make me an offer or I'll put it up at that other place!

jump yay-banana USA Ok len I am working on your 1997 Daiwa and Mike wohlever will delver it to you! Yes it will work beter than when new, it will have poer pro line on it 30# and I will enclose a factory diagram with it! Now I will not tell you how to take it apart! and I may glue it or weld it shut! just fish it! do not take it apart! also Mike will have yiur check with it! also whats the ebay # on that reel you are selling?I would like to see it! I hope you mean Mike will bring the reel to the Michigan Outdoor Collectible show this weekend. I won't be there but Carl will and he's set to get the reel and the check - Thank You Very Much. Please don't tell people that when I have a reel I can't fix, I send it to you. I'm not sure that would be good for my reputation! len with the state of your reputation you could only improve with any refrence to uncle milty[of course we wont talk about how when i get a reel i tempt you and you have to pull it apart and i get a 9/9 reel LOL]-------HEADLINE /chained his son to an anvil so he could make counterfit shakespeare trumphs

jester jump yay-banana cool-thumb yay-banana USA Now Len, I fixed it so you cannot take it apart! and left word a daiawa not to tell you! ha ha , its set to use, I modified it a bit, was a gona do some things however the reel deserved beter! As For Carl, you walk up to mikes many tables and ask him for LENS reel, i will call him am in morning if he hasent already left! as usual his Suburben and one large trailer in tow! As for ELVIS working in MICH? he wanted a job with us however when we found out he hung around only (SQUARES) well reels are supposed to go ROUND! nuf on that issue you guys keep him! Carl , why dont you take LEN with you or is he afraid to go that far NORTH? Len we wont ruin your rep. as we know you can still fix a cane pole and hand line reel? dont put too much grease on the line! I am going to get up a colection and get Len some rubber pliers and screw drivers, a paper hamer, and some other non dangerous tools! Now next week a good 3 day show the HOLY MACKERAL Tackle Show full of goodies and Yours truly manning the ORCA TABLE! I will be dong a hands on repair clinic, LEN you need lessons? no cost to you!
