Is it possible to get a URL for our avatar so that we can use the avatar on other sites?
Thanks

Ron: I have mine stored on my AOL platform and just put that URL into the Reel Talk site...so there is no reason that couldn't be done anywhere else. I would think that if it is stored here and you called it up, it should show a url that could be cut an pasted elsewhere, as well.

Helpful hint for any picture

Post by homergreg »

Here's a tip you can use on any picture if you want to get the URL. On Internet Explorer, right click the picture and select properties, it will show the url there that you can copy and paste. On Firefox (Highly Recommeded), right click the picture and select copy image location, then just paste the URL where needed. Both browsers give several other options for manipulating the picture when right clicked.

BBCodes

Post by Brian F. »

Yes, I need to say that I just learned about what some of those "code" buttons do. They are very useful and appear on the screen above the typing area and under the subject line when typing a message to post. I was doing it the hard way by typing in "code" to get photos to appear, etc. Paul/Phil did a nice tutorial and you can find it under "Options" by clicking on "BBCode" in the lower left hand corner of your screen when typing in a new message or reply. Explains what each button does and how to use them.

I know, I know, I'm supposed to be a forum administrator but I just took off with the hatchet and Paul let me go my merry way! :D
