I bought one of the "One- Phoot" metal latch covers for a Voss spare spool and took a close look at it.
First "One-Phoot" is machined on the back.
Secondly: the spacing of Medalist is a bit bit wider on the One=Phoot model.
Third: it is shiny and not discolored as the 50 year old models.
The workmanship is nice and I see no threat to collectors if you check the back.
I anyone wants a picture, I'll post front and back of both the original and the replacements if one tells me how to post the pictures.
