Re-Cycled Golf Balls

Post by Jonathan P. Kring »

Been playing 9 holes of golf a couple of times a week this summer at a little 9 holes cour se which has basically remained the same for the past 50 years. Not a good golfer, but it's fun. Have probably picked up a couple hundred stray balls this summer. Made a sign for the owners to put on the wall of the small clubhouse. Again, unchanged in 50 years. Also have made a few novelty lures. An idea I picked up after seeing some at an NFLCC show this spring. The joys of retirement!

Pflueger made a reel to use with those "lures" Jonathan. The Par.

Very neat idea! May be money to be made here.

If it's a Pflueger Reel I'm sure you've got one. I'll get a lure in the mail to you!!

They look like great bass lures. Maybe you could make a hole in one!

My golfing buddy Mike and one of his sons made this for me. Just never ending uses for stray golf balls.

When I bought my original one. I said to the guy, that's not meant to fish with is it? He said he sold one to a guy who put it in his golf bag, took it to Fl. was on the course, took out his pak rod put it on and tried it on the course and caught a nice bass. Said he sent him a picture of it. Mine would probably disentigrate in water.
