Those Old Fishing Reels by Albert J Munger

Post by Dale Noll »

This book describes most US type vintage Fishing Reel manufacturers. Copyright in 1982 & printed by Philadelphia Graphics. The information is this book would be of interest to every ORCA member - I should believe.

This remarkle book is written by a 5th generation Virginia fisherman, wood duck carver, and avid fiherman. A concise, but brief review from Abbie & Imbrie to Yawman-Erbe.

My copy is in very bad shape with binding loose - probaby from age and water damage. Quite a few pages are loose. Does anyone know if this old book could be reprinted like some of the reprinted Winchester books I've seen.

Does anyone else have this "book"? "Those Old Fishing Reels" by Albert J. Munger

Thanks for any help. Dale.

Last time I saw Al, at Allentown last Fall, he still had copies of some of his books (He's written three) for sale. I think all the copies of his first book got damaged in a basement flooding or something. Al does not have a computer, but he loves to talk on the telephone.
