Johnwoods Mk2 Competitor
Hi, I'm looking for an example of a fixed spool reel made in small numbers in the 1950's in Birmingham UK. Finished in green crinkle paintwork. Any help would be appreciated in my quest. Email bobwoodfull@gmail.com. Thanks Bob.

Hi Richard,
I'll send you some pics of the components I have. I've also got a graphic. I'm not back in the UK until beginning in April, so will do it then. I found one for sale at a Japanese auction house (mad or what!) but sadly missed it.
I thought I remembered it was spelt Jonwood, not Johnwoods. After the two guys that made it, Jonny Johnson and my Dad. Thanks for your interest. Best wishes, Bob
