Wanted: Spider Washer For Early Shakespeare

Post by wrong99 »

Looking for the tail plate "spider washer" on an early Shakespeare. This is on a Model 1910 "Triumph". The washer is the same style, shown below on another model. Will gladly pay whatever. Thanks in advance.

Mark, how many "legs" on your spider? That example looks to be more than the usual number and you probably can count the "ghost markings" on your backplate to see what you need?

John'
I can't tell from any ghost images, but the identical Triumph sold yesterday at Lang's (Lot 138) and it too had 12 "legs", like the one in my photo.

Yes, too big. The hole is just a hair over 1/4". Thanks anyway, John.

Last call. I'd be willing to pay as high as $1,000.00 for the correct washer, depending on condition.
