Early B.F. Meek & Sons No. 3 Reel For Sale - Moved to Ebay

The reel was made right after the company name changed from B.F. Meek to B.F. Meek & Sons. Mr. Meek was still making reels and bringing his sons into the business. It's a low serial number 726 which actually is in the range of the last B.F. Meek serial numbers around the 1892 time frame. The reel has the cone bearings and ivory knob on the half handle crank. The back of the reel is engraved "J. Sell Miller". The click and drag work fine and the reel spins freely. It's a beautiful little classic reel and moved to eBay.
