Big Lou's story of the year

Post by Brian F. »

Just wanted to share a story written by our National longcasting guest, Big Lou, which won him story of the year and a nice rod/reel outfit.

http://extremecoast.com/contest/contestwinessay1.htm

I had to read twice the part about landing a few sharks "of casting rod length" and then realized that meant 12-14 feet in Texas![/url]

Relaxing

Post by Brian F. »

Jack, it was great meeting you. Never seen a more relaxed reel collector - kicking back in the shade from the Texas sun with some new reels and a cigar, now that's enjoying life! Wished I could've spent more time chatting with you and everyone else. Lou had a great time meeting you all and sends his thanks again.

THanks for sharing, Brian. Give my kudos to Lou for a great fishing story. For us landlocked landlubbers, it's great to read about some SERIOUS fishin'!
