There were a whole series of these reels made with diferent names. I want to say horrocks-Ibbotson, but Mark may be correct.

I was thinking OC because of the nut on the tail plate but I haven't seen an OC like this one before

From the pics I posted it does look like the H/I. Good eye Mr. Elder

I think John is correct. It was at least sold through H-I. The possibility exists that it was produced for sale through H-I by somebody else.
