Bronson Invader 26 info

Post by A47mlb »

Hello, I have in my possession a mint, never used Bronson Invader 26 reel. It was my grandfathers and is in the zipper leather case.

I know nothing about this reel and am looking for any info an expert can give me.

Thank you,
Jeff

Visit ORCA's Bronson website, where you will find all the info you need regarding your Invader. It can be found under the "Bronson Named Reels" category.

The write up says they are highly collectible?? Where can I find a fair market value?

You could expect to get $200 to $400 at auction for one in your condition. Ebay is a crapshoot, as we all know. You could always consider using the Classified section on our website.

There is a like-new condition specimen with original box listed in the upcoming Lang's auction. See what it ends up going for. (Note that you need to add the auction fees, CC/Paypal fees and shipping costs to determine the full dollar value that someone ends up paying versus the auctioneer's suggested bidding range. Registration with CC info is required to view their online catalog. A link to the specific listing is here:

Mark, do you have knowledge that they came in a leather case?

Yes, they did, but I'm not sure for how long. The photo below is from the 1967 catalog.
