Wanted: Handle nut for Meisselbach-Catucci Superlite 1000
I picked up this interesting aluminum Meisselbach-Catucci Superlite 1000 Symploreel. It would look a lot nicer with the correct handle nut (and a cleaning). Please let me know if anyone has a spare of this nut or parts reel.

You probably already know this but from Merv Bortner's web page here's what the nut looks like
Love those Open Face Spinning Reels! (Especially ABU & ABU/Zebco)

Thanks, Tom. I read somewhere that it looked like that. I thought this was a reel made by Bronson but a Bronson nut I tried didn't come close to fitting. I wonder if this reel belongs on the Bronsonreelphotos.com site. Model 1001 is referenced on the Bronson site but not this Model 1000. Maybe Mark has the answer.

I don't think Bronson ever produced this reel after the purchase of M-C in 1931. If they did, it probably wasn't renumbered? A No.1001 has never been seen, to my knowledge. If any member out there has one, I'd pay to see it.

Paul - if I can find a small padded envelope that will hold it without popping out during its journey through the mail service, I'll send you one.
