its been impossible for me to Contact Orca through this site. Please advise

Post by Dan Z »

So, i love Orca, BUT.... Every time i try to send a message through "contact us" i get to the end with the number/letter code to submit. first it is so tiny hard to see, but then when i blow it up and enter it correctly, it says its wrong and i cant get through. i try everything, matching the case, then all combinations of uppercase/lower case etc. Then i look through my emails and each one from orca is "no reply" so i give up. also- as noted, posting email addresses not allowed here, so frustrating. if anyone can help, please et me know. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has had this issue. Thanks! daniel z

Daniel,
I just tried it to the Librarian and it indicated my message was sent successfully. We'll see if Jon actually receives it & responds. The "Contact us" feature is usually used for specific requests to those indicated in the drop down list. If you are trying to contact someone other than those listed on that drop down use the email or pm buttons at the bottom of their name/id box next to the post on the left hand side of the screen, or if you are trying someone use the "Members" button at the bottom right corner of the page. If they have the e-mail function operable it will be indicated on that list. For some reason, though, the "Message" & "Website" columns there aren't functional at this time.

Thanks for responding ! I'm trying to upload a picture of my reels as part of my profile and make some other changes to my account. But matter how many times I try to use contact us- and put the code requested in just does not allow me on phone or computer. I'll see if I can try another way. Thanks !

Daniel,
If you are trying to upload an Avatar the photo you are using may need to be resized as there is a limit on photo & file size for an Avatar. If that is the case maybe this discussion will give you some tips & help.

Hello Daniel,

When I contact someone via private message on this site I get an email message back when they respond that says "No Reply Orca" or something similar. It just lets me know that I got a response and that I can see it in my messages page on this forum.

I'm not sure why the security code at the bottom on the page doesn't allow you to continue while trying to contact the officers through that link.

We will get it figured out.
