Help ID Donated Reel...MALLESON?

Post by scottorock »

Received this reel to list on the 'Bay with a hand written hang tag that reads "Malleson Unmarked Circa 1890". Was hoping someone here could either confirm/deny/etc. HR knob, lazy "S" crank, foot raised above foot pillar ears, stamped 100, knob turns pawl but it does not engage pinion gear, main gear shaft runs though cap with no collar/sleeve. Thanks!
