Pflueger Sal-Trout 1558 Rod and Reel

I just picked this up in an auction. I can find info on reel. What I can't find is this rod and reel combo or a 1558 that can mount the way this one does.



Any information would be appreciated


Haven't got any feed back yet I am wondering if this is a home made set up?

Try removing the reel so we can get a better look at it, as well as the reel seat of the rod.

Did some research this appears to either be and ice fishing rod and reel or was used for spear fishing with lure.
