Hi, I WAS WONDERING WHY I NEVER SEE THIS BRONSON INVADER ANYWHERE.
I ALWAYS SEE THE VERY COMMON MODEL # 26.
IS THIS ONE MORE RARE?
IT SAYS ON THE REEL AND BOX "BRONSON INVADER".
THERE ARE NO MODEL NUMBERS ANYWHERE ON THE BOX
OR THE REEL. I HAVE SEARCHED EVERYWHERE, AND ALL WEB SITES,
AND BOOKS, AND LOTS OF OTHER PLACES FOR A LONG TIME, AND COULD NOT FIND ONE.
WOULD YOU HAVE ANY IDEA OF THE VALUE OF THIS ONE?
ANY INFORMATION WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

That poster emailed me directly. I had never seen his version before either. It was a lesser quality reel than the invader 26, more in line of the invader 2600 ($15 as compared to $300).

It was neat to see and I'll keep my eyes peeled for one for my collection.

cool-thumb USA Dave, I looked at the pic on JOES LURE board, that reel reminds me of one called target, and also a reel with that style andc metal side plates, I never did find who made it! ( The RAT HOLE is under major revamping, as soon as its done I will dig that box of reels with the circle design up, and may just mail you the things to study! the handle is a bluish color and have one in my Bronson parts box! Its my thought that companies made for any sales store that ordered reels etc. I also have wondered did Bronson actualy make bakelite or plastic reels or was it Messialbach? in Elryria OH? again In about 7 to 10 days the RAT HOLE will be in order again!
