Kencor Reels

Post by JL Norris »

I have a Kencor No. 110M and a No. 130M. Both are stainless steel with gray inlets in the side plates. Reels are stamped "Made in Japan" Both reels appear to have never been used.

Does anyone have any idea of age or value?

J.L.: I've had a couple of these...they aren't very high quality, but people still use them to fish. typically, they will be around $35 +/- 5 on Ebay. If yours are minty and especially if you have boxes and paper, you might do better. Personnally, I kinda liked the feel of the flat sided star drag lever they used, just for ease of setting (relative to penns). Never unzipped one, so don't know how strong the drag system is. hope this helps!
