DAM 4050 Trutta Fly reel

Post by fishenough »

Anyone have any info on this reel? The only thing that DAM could tell me is that they are at least 40 years old. Any help will be useful.

This can't be that rare of a reel.

I went after one of these MIB on ebay. I quit at $60 or so and it outpaced me. I think DAM collectors are next to only Mitchell collectors for loyalty to their marque.

Well I do appreciate the info I did receive, but I guess there really isn't much interest/info on this particular reel. Thanks again.

Whats hitting in Lake Erie

Post by fishenough »

Thanks swimjig. Whenever you get the info it would be appreciated. By the way I'm a Jersey Shore fisherman, so I'm not familiar with Lake Erie. What's hitting right know? I'm waiting for the fall striper run.
