Penn International 20 ?

I have an old penn international 20. The ONLY markings I see on the reel are Made in USA and on same side L 0407. The "0"'s could be letters or zero's. Believe me I've looked everywhere for additional markings and info. I know the reel is at LEAST 15-20years old. Please help with any info as to the year or approx age of this reel.

Your reel was the first 20-class International made by Penn and dates to the late 60s or early 70s; this model was made at least until 1976. It doesn't have much collectable value but is still a good reel to fish. They are auctioned frequently on eBay when you can find an approximate value.
