Trading Pflueger reels for Snoopy reels...

Post by mortepa »

Just kidding about trading my Pfluegers of course, but I do have a little potential collector now. Her name is Kristina Rae Mortenson and she was born on August 15th! :-)

Congratulations, Paul! She's beautiful!

Kristina Rae's a pretty name, but couldn't you have worked 'Pflueger' in there somehow?

I still kinda like "Avalon" (if you remember the suggestions we all had for names a while back).

Actually, Lisa and I joked about the names Pflueger and Fisher if Kristina would have been a boy. :-) Fisher was actually our third favorite boy name. We also thought about other names all of you suggested here: http://reeltalk.orcaonline.org/viewtopic.php?t=786

Goldie (short for Golden West) was certainly a cute one as Bill Land suggested, but ended being off the list. Dixie, Gem, and Avalon were interesting choices (thanks Jim and Brian), but just didn't work for us.

Anyways, thanks you guys for the thoughts and everything. It has been an amazing experience! Every day is exciting to get up and see her little face looking at me! :-)

Paul

Paul and Lisa, congratulations, there is no better feeling than to have that first child. Paul, this one is going to cost you WAY more than all your Pfluegers combined! Enjoy every minute, and start saving for college!Alan
