I think Bob is pretty sure using the pics he has and he is a Pflueger expert. However, the pic that is diagnostic for most all the small reels we run into includes a good look at the bottom of the foot. Most makers used particular foot designs and so it's usually a dead giveaway. You would set the reel on edge, with bottom of the foot facing the camera; i.e., about the only shot that didn't get!

It’s a Pflueger, seems to be a 25 yd. size. The knob dates it to 1900-1904. About as old as Pflueger reels get. The hole in the foot was drilled by owner.
Why are you calling the reel a “#2” in the thread title? Small, unmarked, raised pillar, single action reels like that are usually referred to by the yards of line they hold. Is that reel marked “No. 2?” If so it would be worth posting a photo of that marking.
