I just have the box and tool from the Shakespeare 23043. I also have a handful of unmarked parts that might belong to this reel. Does anyone have photos of a reel that would correspond to this box? I've seen other photos of the 23043 and some are marked with model and others are not. Thank you!

Man, that’s a great box for a nice customized reel. I am sure one of our club’s Shakespeare collectors will post a photo of the reel before long.

Thanks! lol My grandfather paid less than that though. $3.50 is penciled in on the box.

I have a very nice example with the model number 23043 stamped on the head cap consigned to Lang's spring auction.
