Stolen

Post by Dr. Rob »

Had a B & E at the shop yesterday. They missed a lot of good stuff, but nabbed a few:

Penn International 12T, new with no external identifying features

Penn Intnl 30 with tube frame made by me. Unanodised and incomplete. There is no reel foot (stand) and a harness lug is missing. (I have a machine shop; just never got around to finishing it)

Ambassadeur 5000 with sideplates made of oak wood. Double black ball handles on the crank.

'40's Pfleuger baitcaster, with engraving on sideplates. (sorry, I really can't say much more. Don't even recall if it was a levelwinder.)

So, seeing as how you guys often hang out on ebay and such, I thought I'd drop a line here. That Ambassadeur won't pass unnoticed. It only takes one pair of eyes.
Thanks.

Doc.

What area?

Dr. Rob, Sorry to hear the bad news but will keep an eye out for the reels. What areas could sellers state they are from? I know they don't have to be truthful about where they are but I'm suspecting it's highly likely that they would be so stupid.

Ah, of course. The seller would likely be overseas. I'm in Sweden myself, but the internet is everywhere. Reels would likely be not too far away. Europe.

Say, does anybody here know Derek, in Germany? The Abu fanatic. I lost his email addy.
