ATTENTION VINTAGE FISHING REEL COLLECTORS!
For your consideration is an extensive collection of vintage fishing reels, several truly antique reels among them.
All the reels have fishing reel boxes, both original and replicas.
A listing of the reels by manufacturer is available to view on an EXCEL spreadsheet upon request. The reels are listed as follows:
Manufacturer; Model Name/Number; Country of Manufacture; Type of Reel, i.e., conventional, bait cast, spinning, etc.; Value, i.e., the collectable estimated value of the reel (and box) based on age, condition, etc. using ORCA standards; Box Yes/No, i.e., whether the reel has a box; Box F/O, i.e., whether the box is an Original or a Facsimile/Replica; Notes, i.e., notations germane to the reel if applicable.
There are 278 reels in total, all of which have boxes, 70 of which are the reels’ Original boxes.
The collectible estimated value of the collection is approximately $12,000 as of May 30, 2020. Reasonable offers will be considered.
There are over 70 fishing reel manufacturers represented in this collection. Among them are: Vom Hofe, Meek, Blue Grass, Alcedo, Cargem, Zangi, Talbot, Portage, 4 Brothers, Abbey & Imbrie, Pflueger, Penn, Shimano, Shakespeare, Orvis, Centaure, RU, Pennell, Meisselbach, Winchester, Perez, Cozzone, Ocean City, Mitchell, Airex, Garcia Mitchell, Ambassadeur, Crack, Mepps, Luxor, Heddon, J.A. Coxe, Bronson, HI, Yale Metal, Zebco, and many others.
The collection will be sold as a set only, no individual reel sales will be allowed!
Buyer will be responsible for S&H charges and Insurance costs. Personal pickup is allowed.
