While I never personally met the man I've felt like I've known him since the beginning of my spinning reel and collecting interests. RIP Lennart!

Yeah, I only met him on one occasion, but he was cool enough to spend some time with me and answer an arsenal of questions. I talked him into autographing one of my favorite reels too. Haven't talked to him since though.
With all that though, it is also true that he has been out of the company for a very long time.
In any case, perhaps one of the last of a dying breed; the Old Man of a great company.
