Fin-nor info

Post by john elder »

Does anyone know a site that has historical info on Fin-nor? Perhaps this will relate to the earlier String from Hell re the purchase of that company by Zebco? Any hope that useful bits will be rescued from that exchange?

Hi guys,

See the earlier post by Swim Jig. Father just got back from the farm yesterday so I should know more in short order.

Regards,

From what I understand, the Librarian has a seven page, undated, catalogue but he hasn't gotten off his duff and added it to the files yet. (It has no information on the 12/20) And as far as knowing the librarian, I have heard he isn't to socialable and is a tuff nut to crack.
If you want copies of what he has, maybe I can tickle his palm and get it to you.
Let me know.

You want the 12/20 specifically? Maybe this'll help:

http://www.thehulltruth.com/forums/ ... #M715670

(i don't know why that link is twenty miles long)

Some tech talk on the 12/20, several pics. Guy named Alan had a few a couple months ago. Email him if you like; tell him I sent you.

Also something else about who or what happened to Fin-Nor leftovers.

About history, I dunno. Think Ed P would know a thing or two.

Doc.

& PS, don't grease the drags.

Milt...you're our hero...nice save! I suggest you just put it in Harvey's living room, assuming it doesn't move in the next 10 weeks or so!

Sounds like it will take some time to fish out the good bits from lots of paper. catalogues and repair manuals would be obvious candidates for the early expeditions into the pile!

thanks from all of us!
