Montague takeapart with a Meisselbach patent????

Post by bamboocollector11 »

I picked up this reel last weekend from a fellow collector. I bought it as it was in good condition and was strange. Has anyone seen one before?

Thanks,
Ed

Yes, I've had a few of those. It's the first version of the Meisselbach "Takapart". They were not marked with the Meisselbach name, nor were they marked with a model number. 1903-1906.

I agree with wrong99. Nice reel. Round Pillar Take-Apart.
