First year South Bend anti-backlash 1131

First year 1131reels. Trying to find earliest serial number and what number did it start at. Some say 2500, some say 2000. Is there any serial number and lower then 2500 ? My lowest serail number is 2552. WHAT IS OUT THERE.

Well I guess there is no new information on early South Bend 1131 reels. It's been over two weeks and no reply. I just wanted to see if there were any other 1131 collectors out there. Also looking for the 1131 mystery reel that Len owned, it was sold at Langs last fall. Also the early SB 1131 serial # 2516 that Ron Gast owned. Want to ask a few question. Thanks Scott
