After seeing Merv's beautiful crystal reel, reels4me,member wanted to share his new burl fly reel, made in Italy by Georgi Dallari. It has an adjustable drag, is 2 5/8" in diameter.

Sure WOOD be nice if the pictures were better but it is a neat piece either way.

I knew someone that made (very nice) bamboo rods in the UK that sold them too... I think they came in some other exotic woods as well.
