I just don't click links, I prefer discussion, but am always amused when people on Bass Resource forum talk about vintage tackle.
I think it makes me vintage, too.

Age is relative and my personal problem with "old things" is that young people think 1950 was a long time ago --- LOL
I love to get old reels, work on them until they run as smooth as silk and the take them fishing using pre-1960 plugs, mostly surface fishing for Largemouths after dark.

Let's be clear, now, you guys ain't quite antiques, yet. Close maybe, but no cigar there. You gotta make it through the collectible stage first. :jester
Love those Open Face Spinning Reels! (Especially ABU & ABU/Zebco)

As I always have to remind Bill, Old Reels are from the 1970's and prior. 1950 reels are 70 years old, and antique reels and antique people were born on or before 1921.

Our mistake. Bill and I were thinking of olde reels.
