Who Made This Fly Reel

The reel is marked William Reed & Sons, MA. The top of the foot is marked "60 BB." It does have a replacement handle knob.

All of those that I have seen were marked "William Read & Son, Boston". Never found the maker.

Look close, I bet its marked for Read.

Knob has been replaced. Should be typical hard rubber.

Edit - That's too funny. I didn't read Ron's post and missed that he already saw the mark. I'll crawl back into my hole now. :bash:

Here is another example with the original knob. It's marked 60-BB on the foot with William Reed and Sons stamped faintly on the front plate.
