Need ID on freebie reel box

Post by Reelman2 »

I received a reel in the mail today and it included some freebies. One of them was this reel box. Perhaps someone can help me ID it and give me a value. It is for sale if interested. It has a partial tag on it. It says Lash which I assume is an anti-backlash. In addition it says 1870 Chrome Plated 100 yd. The box ix in pretty decent shape.

That's an H-I box. Probably for a baitcaster.

That's a Horrocks-Ibbotson box.

I have/had a box like this that contained an H-I automatic fly reel.
