Fin Nor Salt Water Reel

I found this reel today and am wondering how old it is and if there is any value in it. Any help would be greately appreciated.

After you find on computer, hit “upload all and when the two urls appear, hit regular and post. If you get an error, crop your feet out of the pic to just show the reel and try again

Ah, good! I’ll let the Fin-Nor folks chime in about the model but one major concern is salt influence on that aluminum, which looks fairly mild on the outside. However, you need to get rid of that old line and find out what evil might be lurking on the spool.

Looks like a 6/0 from the mid 1950s.I would say worth somewhere between $350 and $500 , Would be a bit more but shows quite a bit of rash. Let me know if your gonna sell it. John Taylor

What John says on date and value. I would get the line off and check the condition of the spool.

Now that I see the condition of spool and amount of corrosion on reel I would lower the value in my opinion to $200 to $300. JT
