Reel patented by G. H. Dumond - Big Saltwater Reel

Post by Ed Barrett »

Does anybody have any information regarding [eBay listing number 7192451163] concerning a reel patented by G. H. Dumond and apparently manufactured by the Endicott Johnson Corp. Any information as to who G. H. Dumond was or the company who manufactured the reel will be appreciated.

Thank you,
Ed

If you search in google using "endicott wilson reel" , there are numerous hits. One site lists company to be at Detroit Mi. Lot of info on Big Game reels to check out.

Hope this helps.

Dale.

Title Change

Post by Len Sawisch »

Hey Ed,

I took the liberty to change your post title to remove the ebay reference.

To avoid the Board becoming an Ebay advertising site, discussions about ebay items should be posted on the Ebay section (top of the page, between For Sale and Parts is Parts). But if you are using an ebay reference to help illustrate some other point, then posting here seems OK.

In your case, I assumed you were using an ebay item for reference to your patent/manufacturing question, so I just changed the title. Otherwise ebay discussions go under the Ebay heading. Thanks!
