I used to live 40 miles from Albany & worked at the state museum, put the right whale up in the CEC, also collect Mitchell reels. Got any leads pre-302 Mitchell SaltWater half bail reels, parts, or paper? Also like restorable smooth bail arm versions. Need a half bail & correct early handle to restore one. Have an extensive collection, bunch of tradeables & substantial boneyard.

I don't really deal or look into parts for the Mitchells. Every now and then I'll buy parts but that's for the reels I'm using. Keep plugging away. Good luck.
