Bronson Hawk #903

Post by Mailman »

I came across this reel made in Bronson, Michigan in the original box with instructions for care/use and a product advertising sheet. The reel is in great condition... rarely used (if ever). I am new to this and curious about value? and history?

Thanks in advance for any information.

Hi Mailman,

A picture and description of product number, attributes, etc. would help. Bronson was one of the most prolific reel makers of the 20th century from the 1920s on. They made a huge line of reels, including some very nice ones. Some are very common and some are rare. Condition is also an important factor.

Post a pic and I'm sure one of the Bronson guys will be able to help you out.

Welcome to the board! I hope you'll find the reel so interesting you'll want to collect more! Bronson reels offer a lot to a collector: they are easy to come by, there is a wide selection, and they are attractive.

Cheers,

Dr. Todd

Great information. I tried(unsuccessfully) to upload my pic. but it may have been too large. I will try again latter. The reel is clean! Box is in good condition as well as the ad for bronson reels and the care and maint sheet.

This is a great web site! I will be back OFTEN!

Thanks,
Rick
