Mallochs real or fake

I read the material I could find on the site about this reel and I am not sure if this is an original reel or a fake. Your opinions are welcome
The line guide is pinned to the foot and the patina indicates age. The reel locks into the retrieving position with a spring loaded latch. The arbor also locks into the spool with
a spring. Outside of the Mallochs patent stamp I cannot find any other markings.

It's real. Seen plenty fakes but this is the real deal.
