New Editor For Bronson Site

Post by wrong99 »

This is to announce that ORCA member Mark Bumgarner has graciously agreed to take over editing duties for our Bronson Reel site, as my health issues have made it impossible for me to do so. Any help or mentoring as he learns the process would be greatly appreciated by both of us. Of great importance is restoring page 4, which disappeared from the site a while back. That kind of restoration has been done before, so I'm hopeful it can be repeated.
It's been my pleasure to carry on what Robert Ellis started so many years ago. I hope Mark can count on your help. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all you good people.

I spoke to Bill Chapman yesterday. Bill sang your praises, Mark. He cited so many examples of the many kind things you have done for him and for ORCA and the reel community. You are respected for your generosity and vast knowledge of reels. Thank you from all of us.

Thank you Mark for your years of dedicated service and for introducing me to ORCA. Your shared knowledge of the tackle industry is treasure to so many.
The heavy lifting has been done on the Bronson site but occasionally a new reel or photos pop up or a bit of history that needs added to a site page. I look forward to learning the process and continuing your good work with the aim of maintaining the integrity of the Site. I will be reaching our for help in this endeavor.
Thanks again Mark. We are praying for your speedy recovery!

Mark's willingness to share his extensive knowledge, not only to the reel collecting but also to classic rod communities, is greatly appreciated. He has been a great friend to me and I'm sure many others. I know his condition is very serious but I pray that the treatments work and that he will be with us a good while longer. He will be missed.
